How Carnivore works
- Fill every cell to win. The daily leaderboard ranks today's winners by fewest tries.
- The eel moves on its own. You only choose which way it turns.
- Arrow keys or WASD. On a phone, swipe — or use the buttons.
- Eat a fish to grow one segment and score a point.
- Lightning bolts slow you down for five seconds. They help.
How Budget Brawl works
- Pick a topic's best six for $25. So can your opponent, off the same board.
- You take turns, and once something is taken it's gone.
- The order snakes, so picking first isn't a free run at everything.
How Word Guess works
- Choose 4, 5 or 6 letters. That's your puzzle for the day.
- Guess a real word of that length.
- Green means the letter is in the right place.
How Six Degrees works
- You get a start word and an end word.
- Type a word that's genuinely associated with the one before it.
- Keep going until you reach the end word.
How ChronoGrid works
- Five events, dealt one at a time. The first is placed for you.
- Tap the slot where the current event belongs on the timeline.
- Get it right and its year is revealed.
How WordMorph works
- Change exactly one letter at a time.
- Every step has to be a real word of the same length.
- Reach the target word in as few steps as you can.
How RankBlind works
- One category, five items, revealed one at a time.
- Commit each to a rank before you see the next one.
- You can't move an item once it's placed.
